Arthur Samet joined the company in 1991
and succeeded his father as CEO in 2000.
Under Arthur's leadership, we have diversified from our commercial/industrial roots into high-growth segments such as multi-family housing, education, healthcare, technology, and high-rise buildings.
In the 1970’s we began to construct speculative industrial buildings.
This experience taught us how to 'think like an owner'. Our teams focused on the owner's objectives and financial goals throughout the planning and financing phase to develop creative approaches that enabled clients to make their vision a reality.

The two-story Noda Wandry is the renovated and repurposed Johnston Mill, a historic landmark of Mecklenburg County in Charlotte's NoDa neighborhood located at the crossroads of 36th Street and North Davidson. The project includes both adaptive reuse renovation to the historic Johnston Mill, and two newly constructed apartment/retail spaces adjacent to the mill, for a total of 235 units. As one of Mecklenburg County’s last textile mills, Johnston Mill has historical and architectural significance. Built in 1916 by Iredell County native and textile magnate Charles Worth Johnston to keep up with demand for cotton goods during World War I. The mill was expanded in the 1920s and was operational until the mid-1970's.
